Volunteering in a Gap year

PoD offers a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers to work in the most incredible parts of the world on their gap years. We also offer summer mini gap projects for 1-8 weeks in the summer holidays designed for people who aren't taking full gap years or University students during their summer holiday. Career Breaks
- 1 week-6 month programmes providing the essentials for a fulfilling career break, which can also be incorporated into existing travel plans. Our career break volunteers programmes are designed for over 21s and those looking for a more independent volunteer placement, making a difference to people, animals and the environment. Working holidays
- not everyone can spare a month or two to join an overseas project. For a week or more people who care can take a working holiday or ethical holiday and join our ongoing voluntary work programmes of support and development in local communities.
