What can you do? When can you go?Placements are available throughout the year, with start dates every weekend. The building programme will run through July, August and early September this year. For how long?Placements last for a week up to 6 months. Diving takes place Monday to Friday and the weekends are free for other activities.
How much is it?Placements costs are £595 per week - including all diving, accommodation and food on the island. Building volunteer placements are £495 for 1 week, £695 for 2 weeks (add £150 per week after that). Includes accommodation and food on the island and free diving in the afternoons. What else is there?During the week you will be based on Frank's Caye (pictured above), a private island in the Sapodillas Cayes Marine Nature Reserve. At weekends you will return to the mainland to Punta Gorda where you can become absorbed into Belizean village life. There are also jungles, rivers and Mayan ruins to explore. | |
