Location of our projects

The wildlife rescue centre is situated in a beautiful mangrove forest on the coast of the island of North Sulawesi in Indonesia.

The capital city of North Sulawesi, Mandado, where the airport is situated is 30km from the rescue centre (40 minutes drive). Flights to Manado are available from within Indonesia (Jakarta, Denpassar), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore and the Philippines (Davao).

Sulawesi is a beautiful island that volunteers may wish to explore on days off or after the placement.  As volunteers will have to travel through Asia to reach the centre it's also a very good opportunity to visit other parts of Asia.
