What can you do?Volunteers work with with Nepali and Tibetan children, teaching English or helping at orphanages.
When can you go?Placements are available throughout the year, although the monsoon period (June-August) is less popular for travel.
For how long?Placements last for 3 weeks-3 months.
How much is it?Placements cost £500-£750.
What else is there?You will be based in and around the Himalayan town of Pokhara, a relaxed yet lively lakeside location in the shadow of the Annapurna Range. Pokhara is the start point for some of the most popular treks in the Himalayas and the place where travellers come to relax and absorb the culture and atmosphere of Nepal. | |
