Short projects

All our Peru projects have a minimum stay of 2 weeks.

Location of our projects

Orphanage and teaching placements are based in or around Cusco, a vibrant lively city with a large population of travellers. It is very easy to meet people and make friends.

Our jungle research and conservation centre is located on the Madre de Dios River in the Amazon jungle, a days travel from Cusco.

What else is there?

There are many adventure activities and travel opportunities within easy reach, such as a visit to Machu Picchu, a tour of the Sacred Valley and white water rafting. See adventure activities for more details.

Our local staff will also advise and provide contacts for further activities such as trekking, cultural tours, visits to tropical rainforest reserves and exploration of other Inca ruins.
