Volunteering options

The opportunity to work with local people in a variety of roles in a safe, developmental environment in Africa. PoD works with a small charity in Tanzania targeting healthcare, education and development.

People projects

Location of our projects

The charity we work with is based in the remote rural villages of Yamba and Milingano in the West Usambara Mountains.

What else is there?

It is easy to arrange your own activities and if you decide to stay on afterwards, you have everything that East Africa has to offer. You could go trekking on Kilimanjaro, do an air balloon safari, dive off Zanzibar or take a classic train journey through the bush.
