At PoD, we offer a wide range of volunteer projects.  Depending on what you are interested in, we have the following categories of volunteering:

• Animals - animal care and rescue projects including wildlife and domestic animals
• Conservation - land and marine based conservation projects
• Child care & orphanages - people taking a sabbatical or extended leave from work, or a break between jobs
• Teaching - teaching English and other subjects at primary and secondary scools
• Community development - other community based volunteering including building projects, healthcare and professionally skilled roles

Our projects cater for people at different stages, looking for different kinds of experiences:

• Gap Year - school / university leavers taking time out before or after university
• Summer Mini-Gap - school leavers going straight to university, or university students during the summer break
• Career Break - people taking a sabbatical or extended leave from work, or a break between jobs
• Working / ethical holidays - people who want to do something different in their holidays from work, or in retirement
• School Expeditions - school groups taking an expedition overseas

You can go for as little as 1 week or as long as 6 months.
